This is the second year for Highlands Bible Institute, and classes continue to grow in terms of scope and student enrollment. This past summer HBI offered seven online classes and enrolled students from around Arizona and even the East Coast. A special Monday morning class on "How to Study the Bible" was held during the month of August and provided in-depth, workshop-style instruction to 44 students on how to make accurate observations and correct interpretation of biblical text.
"We are seeing healthy growth at HBI," said pastor Ed Lutz. "We are building new classes, adding instructors, and developing new delivery methods and convenient times in order to reach as many students as possible." Lutz noted that in addition to theTuesday and Thursday evening schedule, HBI has offered special classes on Sunday and Monday mornings in an effort expose more people to the types of classes HBI provides during its mid-week format. "We really believe people are beginning to catch on to all that HBI offers. We desire to equip as many believers as we can within the local church to grow in their faith and to help them effectively share the gospel. We will do whatever it takes to that end."
